What clinics ask first.
Which patients is SOMA for?
Adults relearning hand use after stroke, with a home program. We set the selection criteria together with your rehab doctors during the pilot.
Who fits the band?
In the pilot, our team fits the first band with your therapist. After that it slips on at home and calibrates in about a minute.
Does it need a camera or Wi-Fi video?
No camera. SOMA is privacy-first and camera-free: it reads the forearm through the band, with a motion sensor in the pod, so homes stay private.
Is SOMA a medical device?
Not yet. SOMA is a prototype in validation, and pilots run with clinical partners.
